The Autumn issue of the RSAYS magazine Squadron tells of the involvement of the Squadron in native shellfish trials conducted by the Port River Shellfish Restoration Project.
It explains how, as part of this project, baskets of the native oyster (Ostrea Angasi) were positioned on a pontoon at RSAYS and have been tended to regularly by volunteers during 2017 and 2018.
