The Foundation organised a Public Talk about Living Seawalls on Monday August 19th at the Port Adelaide Town Hall.
More than 80 people booked to attend and 50 came along on a wintry night.
Living Seawalls is a Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) initiative that builds on years of marine green engineering research in collaboration with Reef Design Lab, a Melbourne-based design studio.
Dr Maria Vozzo, Research Associate, SIMS and Alex Goad, founder and Creative Director, Reef Design Lab addressed the Public Talk.
Thanks to the Coast Protection Board and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield for making this event possible and the Mt Lofty NRM Board for the grant that will enable a trial of the tiles in the Port River.
